The Backpack

This is an original story that was animated mostly frame-by-frame in Adobe Flash. Though the plot and the characters are all fictitious, the setting—the university—was based on the university I’m currently studying at. It has a duration of about two minutes.

I tried to make the backgrounds to look like hand drawn paintings, so they would contrast with the characters’ solid coloring.

The story: Basically, as the guy was walking around in the campus, he realizes that a girl had forgotten her backpack on the floor and left. He then decides that the right thing to do is to pick up the backpack and take it to its rightful owner. As he tries to do this he’ll face various every day trials that’ll test his resolve.
